What You’ll Do

As a Dietary Aide, you will play an important role in creating an enjoyable dining experience for our residents by:

• Assisting the cook with food preparation and meal service.
• Serving meals while following residents’ dietary requirements, preferences, and special diets.
• Setting and clearing dining tables.
• Operating the dishwasher and completing manual dishwashing as needed.
• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, dishes, and work areas.
• Following all food safety, infection prevention, fire safety, and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Providing friendly, respectful, and compassionate service to residents and their families.
• Working collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure excellent resident care.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Dietary Aide, Server, or in food service is considered an asset.
• Experience working with seniors or in a retirement or long-term care setting is an asset.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional service.

Schedule

• Day, evening, and weekend shifts as required.
• Weekday and weekend availability is preferred.

Location

This position is based in Georgetown, Ontario. Applicants must be able to reliably commute or relocate before their start date.
